A simple tavern but with special dishes, little choice on the menu, honest prices and top quality food... the plating and presentation are of a starred restaurant. From the outside a very simple building, the rustic interior and the welcoming staff make you feel more at home than in the restaurant.Obviously the lard with honey chestnuts prepared to perfection is highly recommended. Also nettle gnocchi and blue fondue.

Excellent tavern! Top quality typical Aosta Valley food. Large and clean room. Polite and friendly staff. Advised!

Lunch among the castles with the excellent and renowned Valle d'Aosta snack, which costs 16. I also highly recommend their chestnut and lavender desserts

We had lunch on a Saturday in November, booking the day before. There were 4 of us plus 2 children. We shared 2 platters of cold cuts and cheeses and 2 plates of trio of tomini with green, red and spicy sauce. Then I had a plate of mushroom tagliatelle with parmesan flakes and for dessert the salted caramel semifreddo with chocolate and hazelnut sauce. It was all delicious! I particularly liked the tagliatelle with mushrooms and the dessert was excellent too! We had a very good time. The girls who served us were kind and nice.We will return because I also want to try the honey chestnuts with lard.

We ate really well! Delicious Aosta Valley snack, honorable mention for the peppers, incredible I would have eaten a quintal of them! Rustic and welcoming environment, the classic village trattoria that surprises you with abundant and well-cooked dishes. Very friendly service, the girl is really very kind and cute! The dessert is also amazing, lavender panna cotta, a truly excellent and not at all conventional dessert. Great experience!

On the advice of local people we had the Valle d'Aosta snack. Good, rich and fresh dishes. The location is quiet and it was a very relaxing evening. The staff was very courteous and professional.I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

We stayed in the surrounding areas of the restaurant and on the way home we stopped for lunch. In addition to the very kind girl who welcomed us and who evidently likes her job, the place appears simple and welcoming. We chose some typical dishes and one was better than the other. The cook is really good. From what we tasted, the caramelized chestnut appetizer, the potato gnocchi with Aoste blue cream, the concia polenta with gorgonzola and walnuts and finally the Cogne cream for dessert are absolutely worth trying. Price more than fair for the quality of the product and the quiet place!

Great place discovered by chance, we stopped for lunch and left satisfied. The cold cuts platter is excellent, plentiful and of great quality, the caramelized chestnuts are delicious (with the inevitable lard) and the tomini perhaps not up to the standard of the first 2. Followed by first courses that were all up to par and tasty and the panna cotta with chestnuts and caramel for dessert (absolutely a must). The staff was courteous and quick even though the place was almost completely full. Prices normal
